Before picking up any tools, everything begins with a conversation. Kevin listens to the surfer—their wishes, their style, the waves they ride, and the feeling they’re seeking. This dialogue gives birth to the board’s “program,” a true extension of the surfer.
2. Creating a unique board that reflects its rider
Then comes personalization: spray, tinted resin, patterns, drawings… everything is possible! The client imagines, Kevin brings it to life.
The result? A unique, 100% custom-made board.
3. Hand-shaping
From a raw foam blank, Kevin traces, cuts, and sculpts each curve by hand. This precise and patient work requires real expertise — it’s where performance meets the beauty of the craft.
4. Glassing, or the birth of the board
During lamination, the board truly comes to life. The resin is applied quickly but with care, preserving lightness while ensuring the strength of the glass. The artisanal shaper becomes both chemist and artist.
5. Sanding, the final touch
Sanding — also called the “second shape” — highlights all previous work. It’s a stage of pure precision: sanding just enough for the board to glide perfectly, without losing strength. When the dust settles, the masterpiece is ready.
