This authentic Mexican blanket is handmade using a traditional woven loom, a technique passed down through generations across Mexico. The patterns vary regionally, each carrying its own unique cultural significance.

This traditional design, known as ‘Saltillo’—also the name of a desert state in northern Mexico—captures the breathtaking colors of a desert sunset. The patterns blend warm hues of orange, red, and green seamlessly against a vibrant royal blue background, evoking the magic and natural beauty of the desert landscape.

The workshop were our ethnic blankets are made is located in a small town in the state of Tlaxcala, in central Mexico.

COMPOSITION:

This Mexican blanket is hand woven with thick acrylic wool which makes them warm and resistant through time.

2.10 x 1.60 meters (6.8 x 5.2 feet)

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Our Mexican rugs or blankets are machine washable and fast drying. We recommend cold water washing.

PACKAGING:

Our Mexican blankets are carefully folded and packed in craft paper inside a cardboard box. We are proud to have 100% satisfaction on our deliveries using 0% plastic!
